Our Curriculum
Level 1 is theory based where you build your foundation as a children’s yoga teacher — even if you’ve never taught or done yoga before.
You’ll learn how to confidently guide children aged 3–12 through safe, engaging, and structured yoga classes. This includes understanding basic child development, how to plan a class, and how to use games, storytelling, and movement to keep kids focused and excited.
By the end of Level 1, you can expect to:
Understand how to teach yoga safely to young children (in theory)
Plan simple, fun, and structured kids yoga classes
Feel confident managing a small group of children
Start teaching under 12yo beginner-level classes
This is ideal if you’re just starting out and want to explore teaching kids yoga
Level 2 is a practical course that takes you deeper into becoming a professional and confident instructor. This is where you refine your teaching skills and learn how to handle real-life class situations.
You’ll cover more advanced topics like teaching children, pre-teens and teens; working with children with special needs (including ADHD and autism), and managing different behaviours in a class.
You’ll also learn in-depth practical tools & techniques, yoga games & activities, mindfulness practice, self-regulation, self-awareness, breathing exercises and will get hands-on experience teaching children through a series of practicum sessions.
By the end of Level 2, you can expect to:
Teach children of any ages independently with confidence
Adapt your teaching for different age groups and needs
Handle behaviour and group dynamics effectively
Gain real teaching experience through a practical course to prepare you for real-life situations and classes
This is for those who want to deepen their experience and confidence in teaching children’s yoga all the way up to teens.
The Comprehensive program combines both Level 1 and Level 2 into a complete certification pathway — taking you from beginner to fully trained children’s yoga instructor all in a single course.
This is the fastest and most complete way to gain all the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience you need to start teaching confidently through a series of co-teaching actual kids yoga classes.
